My buddy, and I went here for dinner. The seafood was excellent. The service was terrific. I will definitely go here again in the future. Please take a look at the photos of the swordfish, Ceasars salad, Clam Chowder, and the lobster roll.

Another 1st and i was truly was taken back. They were able to accommodate us with making lobster mac n cheese. Homemade pasta and cheese sauce heaven!!! The oysters as well as the clam chowda 20 out of 10. Perfectly cooked and full of creamy flavor. Oysters perfectly shucked and removed from the muscle membrane to make for an easy slurp. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and service

We chose the Mariner as the perfect spot for our son's college graduation celebration and it didn't disappoint! We were a large party of 16 and worked with their event planner, Ingrid, who was attentive and so pleasant and accommodating right from the start! She greeted us as soon as we arrived and provided non-stop excellent service the entire evening! From the food, the people and even the pre-printed menu, everything was perfect! As locals, the Mariner has always been one of our favorites and will now be a "go-to" when planning our next event!

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink while walking around Historic downtown Mystic Connecticut. We both ordered the Creole seafood chowder, which was phenomenal . I had The Mariner's "Slick" Lager and my other half had the Spiced pear old fashioned. I was so happy we decided to stop in. The service was super friendly and fantastic by answering any questions we had. I would recommend The Mariner to anyone in the area, and I will definitely be back on my next visit to Mystic CT. Great job !

Just stopped down to have drinks and dessert, The tiramisu was fabulous and our bartender Michelle was great! We were greeted by Bailey, and Kerry gave us some great recommendations on things to try next time! The manager even stopped by the bar to see if we needed anything! We will surely be back!!

Great experience from the get go. We walked in on a Sunday with a party of 6. The host was very understanding and was able to get us a reservation within a half an hour- we definitely lucked out. Our server (I forget his name) was very attentive made recommendations which were ALL great. He even gave recommendations for other things in the area. The clam chowder was awesome and not gritty at all. I got the lobster roll which came with a generous portion of lobster and very good hand cut fries. My wife got the French dip which was very flavorful and cooked right. My mother in law got the fish sandwich. Good piece of fish with light breading. I will be going back here and highly recommend anyone in the area to give it a try.

We stopped in for lunch on our anniversary, and we were not disappointed! Great food and great staff. I had the lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder. The roll was good, but the star was the chowder. My honey had the fish and chips, and she absolutely loved it. Oh, and if you’re feeling like a beer, the “Captain’s Daughter” was great.
